Further down, and still well within the top 50 spots, University College London (UCL) features at 21st place, the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) arrives at 32nd place and then King’s College London and the University of Edinburgh are at 38th and 39th place respectively. The King’s College London rise to 38th place is a notable leap from last year’s rank of 57th. Other UK climbers are Royal Holloway, University of London, which has climbed from 119th place to 102nd, and Queen Mary, University of London which has risen from 145th to 114th place.
