We’ve added some images of a few recent bookbinding and book restoration jobs to our image gallery (click the gallery images for a larger view) and also there are some accompanying text descriptions of the work undertaken in our Pinterest ‘Bookbinding Projects’ pinboard which covers the same examples in greater detail. Work includes some bible restorations and re-covers, some interesting marbled end papers and leather details such as spines and corners, the binding of various publications and magazines into volumes for highly organised safekeeping, as well as foil blocking in gold or silver and traditional blind embossed patterns to outer covers. There are also some examples with multiple register ribbons which can be very useful (see the red Archbald 2013 example).
