Canon 1 year old

This week signals a small milestone for The Document Centre as it’s a year ago since we installed our large format printer, the Canon  iPF8400. This machine allows us to print high quality PDF’s onto a lovely 200gsm Satin paper (other media are also available) and benefits from quick turnaround times too. The machine has really proved its worth over the course of the year and the printed output has been very well received by customers, whether the subject matter was graphical or photographic. The Canon typically prints anything from an A4 sheet to A0 size (841mm x 1189mm) and can output up to 44″ wide. It uses a 12-colour ink system, so colours are very rich and any graduations are very smooth. It also incorporates an enhanced black reproduction which is great for graphics which might include dense flat blacks or deep shadows in photographs. A built-in colour sensor checks the final output as it prints, resulting in very consistent and accurate colours and all in brilliant definition, which really has to be seen to be believed! All this in just a few minutes and, as an added bonus, the finished prints are also scratch-resistant.
An idea of pricing follows and you’ll see that large posters work out very
reasonable indeed. Discounts are also available on several copies (3+).
