We have been bookbinding since 1968. In 1976 the owner, Richard Scales started R.G.Scales in the Inner Temple serving the legal profession.

After many years of growth, we then opened a factory in Bermondsey and moved the main office to Ludgate Circus.

We have now consolidated all buildings into one close to London Bridge and have incorporated R.G.Scales into the Document Centre.

During this time we were the pioneers in innovative binding systems and were at the forefront of ‘on-demand binding’. We still carry on this tradition today.

We have simple bindings from £2.00 up to full leather presentation volumes for special events, including personalised volumes such as poetry, or personal novels etc.

Our gold lettering department has a wide range of type or can find a solution to most problems!

As the leading company for many years in thesis binding, we have built up the ability to understand the needs of the student and the deadlines that they have and to help them through this anxious time.
